This is for my friend, my partner and my pillar – A very happy 5th anniversary

5 years ago, A promise was made,
To live our life together,
To share our joys and woes,
To be there for each other.

The last 5 years have been filled with loads of fun times
Loads of little arguments,
But not a doubt in my mind,
About the choice that I made.

Years have gone by,
Us has become We,
Never has life felt dull in your company.

As much as I drive you crazy with my Idiosyncrasies,
I want to take a moment and say,
A heartfelt Thank you,
For just being there,
For being a wonderful father and ,
For everything you do.

Here’s a toast to many more anniversaries together with our kids ;-)

Thought for the day

Mind feels light

Heart feels happy

Life is full of opportunities

Feet on ground

and dreams that touch the rainbow.

A son who’s ready to break into a smile

A partner who makes you feel safe

Family that offers unconditional love

What more does one need in life

But to thank one’s blessings and

a steaming hot cup of masala chai :-)

Enjoy the moment!!!!

Thanks Google

A salad dressing recipe that has kindled my interest in salads

Sesame Peanut Vinaigrette

1 small can coconut milk
1/4- 1/2 cup peanut butter start with 1/4 add as needed
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 T sesame oil
1 T sriracha hot sauce
1 T lime zest
1 T tamari or soy sauce
1 T chopped roasted peanuts
1 T chopped cilantro

Whisk all together and Serve!

The veggies we used were thinly sliced carrots, green and pink cabbage. I can also think of using cucumber, spinach, capsicum, sweet corn, green peas. Experiment and Enjoy!!

A big thanks to the Google Chef who came up with this recipe and was also ready to share it with us.

'Flop' is the word

If you have read my previous post then you know what I am talking about. Let's just leave it at that. But, to clarify, I am not discouraged. More experiments will continue and you will continue to hear more about it.
